Until this moment the problem was to provide the most necessary amount of UV light in an effective and economic way.
UVRbot scans environments with cutting-edge image processing technology and, through advanced artificial intelligence algorithms, it estimates the necessary amount of time to deliver the adequate dosage for a complete decontamination.

FULL COVERAGE WITHOUT HUMAN INTERVENTION
UVRbot is a one of a kind product.
This robot uses 3D scan based on laser sensors and visual recognition capabilities to map the environment to disinfect.
Using the three-dimensional reconstruction and considering environmental conditions and data from the sensors, the UVRbot’s microprocessor will define the most suiting disinfection plan and will star the disinfection cycle.
During the process, the robot will execute all the necessary measurements in order to optimize and adjust the working plan.

SMART UV LIGHT DOSAGE
UVR-bot interprets the intrinsic parameters of the scanned environment and determines the optimal amount of time to deliver the most effective germicidal dose: 1500W.s.m-2 in every corner of the room.
TOTAL IRRADIATION
UVR-bot uses a high-performance algorithm that establishes the optimal displacement pattern such that all surfaces and elements in the environment are irradiated long enough.
SHORT TIMES
UVR-bot optimizes the space resource to carry out disinfection cycles in less than 20 (twenty) minutes, thus allowing the environment to be quickly released for use.

Surfaces contaminated with virus, protozoa and bacteria are the source of a wide range of diseases that can be easily prevented.
In public health institutions, the risk of contracting an in-hospital infection is between 5% and 10% for developed countries (WHO, 2020) and between 5% and 15% for developing countries (MSAL, 2008). For this reason, it is essential to have an efficient disinfection system.
Based on statistics, manual disinfection methods have proven ineffective and insufficient: it is estimated that only 60% of contaminated surfaces are successfully treated after mechanical procedures.
